ONCE UPON A TIME . . .
In a feedlot near Billlings, Montana, Drew met Kellie.
How feeding horses and cattle together on that September
day led to them tying the knot eleven months later,
really, only God knows.
"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me
with all your heart.
Jeremiah 29: 11-13
'Behold, Children are a heritage from the Lord,"
Psalm 127:3

Twenty-five years later, Drew and Kellie are still knotted together and all tied up, living the dreams that began in that Billings feedlot. They still feed cattle and horses together. Only now, they have a crew to help out.
How over a year of trying to start a family---with Drew and Kellie beginning to wonder if they'd ever experience the blessing of a child---
turned into the blessing of TEN children . . .
that's another thing only God really knows.
Laurel, Alaine, Clare, Erica,
Hallie, Jana, Nora, Ahnalee, and Kate
Make up the amazing-girl part of this crew.
Drew gets a lot of comments about being
the poor guy to be saddled with nine daughters.
His response to that is:
"Are you kidding me!? I'm the richest man in the world."
Rhett Drew is the little guy who singlehandedly
handles our crew's boy division. And if you're wondering . . .
Yes, he is the inspiration for Tater
in the Humble Cow series.

If you're wondering how our family finds time to write and illustrate a children's book series, in between managing a ranch and managing a household, we'll tell you: we're not sure.
We just know that when God puts a good desire in your heart, He sees it through to fulfillment. Your part is to keep delighting in the good work He's given you to do. Don't ever settle for less.
